ZOE Dämmung verbessern (Anleitung von Rasky)

Eure Anleitungen zur verbesserten Türdämmung finde ich super! Bei Gelegenheit werde ich das bei meiner ZOE auch umsetzen. Ich habe noch etwas Armaflex in 19 mm Stärke von der Isolation meines Lüftungssystems übrig. Was meint ihr, würde ich die 19 mm in die Türen bekommen, oder ist der Zwischenraum zu gering? In jedem Fall danke für eure Rückmeldungen.

So this is the drivers front door. The only improvement seems to be the white cloth.

Did you have a look behind the styrofoam closures? It would be interesting if the insulation mat behind it is now larger with Zoe Gen2.

No, on the front doors you have 2 10x10cm bitum patches and on the back doors, only one! Very poor. So up until now i have done the doors, the floor on the trunk and the hatch. Next will be the roof, the back wheel arches and maybe the hood? It is worth it to do the hood also?

The car is now much more silent and the Bose system, altough it lacks finesse by default, sounds much better/warm/full as before. And impressive enough, with very little distorsions even at maximum volume.

my opinion: The Preparation of the hood of my Q90 didn’t make a real advantage.

The insulation of the roof got the most benefit (temperatures in winters and noises on highways). The roof is a „must-do“!

I disagree. You must stuff the hood with damping material and cover with damping material. 100% success.

Biggest advantages will be doors and roof. Of cause hood helpes too, but compared to the other two its just a little more. The cherry on the cake.

is there a major difficulty or any usefull tricks concerning the (dis) assembly of the new Zoe´s door covers? Or ist it pretty similar to the old Zoe covers?

It seems to be the same. Including the same door covers.

reading all this it comes to my mind if these modifications might have any consequences regarding 'type approval' or 'operating permit'...
