electrified - Neue OBD2 App für den i3

Hi allen,

Es freud mich zu sagen das die Electrified app auch ganz gut funktioniert in einen Mini Cooper SE (Mini Electric F56 Hatch). Nur eine wert wird nicht übertragen und das ist die Reichweite. Der steht auch immer im dashboard.

I habe ein Vgate BT4.0 adapter gebraucht. Ich hatte keine android Gerät, so ich habe eine alte von jemand gebraucht. Aber es funktioniert großartig

So, ich habe das schon einige malen gesehen in dieser topic, aber ach von mir die frage ob es noch einmal eine iOS version der electrified app gibt.

Hello guys, sorry if I write in English but I don’t know German. I’m a Mini Cooper SE owner, I found your forum talking about the electrify app that works with the mini. I have bought the same OBD as i3lady (from page 8) but I can’t connect it to the app, it says that I have to switch off and on the Bluetooth interface. Can you tell me maybe what OBD module works better with my car? So I can buy it from amazon and test it. I have autopi.io but it’s too difficult and I can’t even find the protocol for communicate with the car. Thanks to all!

recommended by the apps programmers is the "vgate iCar Pro bluetooth 4.0" interface. But several devices work together with this app, sometimes with minor limitations/problems. I use a Konnwei KW902 with sometimes a little bit of connection problems to the car but its for me ok like it is.

I'm using the recommended "vgate iCar Pro bluetooth 4.0" adapter. Works perfectly with the electrified App.

Sometimes I have to try a couple times to connect to the OBD adapter with the "electrified" app (can be 5 times). The bluetooth connection of my cell phone prefer to connect to my car and not to the OBD connector. Do not ask my why.....it is just like this.

Thanks for the fast replies guys! I’ve found it on amazon, 29€.. I wanted to buy on AliExpress but I have to be sure that it works so I can return autopi that costs about 300€. I’ll keep you updated on how it works with Mini Cooper SE, have a good day guys

this is surprising because my smartphone is connected to both the car and the OBD adapter; modern bluetooth connections should be able to do both

Hello guys, Amazon delivered the OBD you suggested me and IT WORKS thanks! My response in that the app is very very good, but I have 6seconds for refresh... too much, specially for data collection.. do you have idea how to refresh data faster?

there is no setting option for the update rate. The time selected at the moment also has certain reasons, since the retrieval of some values or their response takes longer (because many values) and then shorter queries led to errors.

Understood, the problem is that maybe you’re losing an acceleration because of an overtaking.. or a big drop of speed because of an emergency braking, and I wanted data to be as realistic as possible thins could be good for trip like highway or no traffic road.. thanks for the info, hope to have the possibility to modify the refresh rate in the future (at least for some important data like the instant power, I don’t care that much about other value if they refresh every 10 seconds for example)
