I like writing in English as well as it feels more natural for everything technical as this is how I read things in that field in the first place anyway.
The software incompetence is unfortunately quite widespread in the auto industry. Except for Tesla, not many constructors understood that this is now key and that they need a good vertical control of the whole stack. Too many still rely on 3rd parties to write the code which leads to integration problems and bugs.
What bugs me (no pun intended...) with the BMS thingy at Renault's is not so much that they had a sub-par first version on the early manufactured cars (we all know that sometimes you have to cut corners to meet deadlines) but that there is no will to improve the process in the garages to make things better.
I can only hope that this will get better with time, and that Renault will set higher standards for the EV certified ones.
Keep pushing and pressuring Renault Germany
Cheers,
JM.
