There is now some clarity regarding the powertrain. Peak power and torque of the motor are 255 kW (347 PS) and 520 Nm; in a dual setup this yields 510 kW (694 PS, as mentioned above) and 1040 Nm. The REEV version, equipped with a 34.56 kWh battery and 1498 cc 82 kW (111 PS) engine, can run 150 km on electric charge alone. The pure EV version has a range of 502 km (NEDC) by virtue of an 88 kWh battery pack.

Maple 30X (codename GK-1) is a variant of the Gleagle EX3, to be provided mainly to ride-hailing/car sharing fleets such as Geely's Caocao. Produced by Fengsheng Automobile (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd. in Rugao, Jiangsu, the Maple 30X is be powered by a 70 kW motor.
