My situation is that i ONLY need/use IoniqInfo which is rather small and i guess not the biggest trouble maker, but still i would remove it completely (+data/cache) before i visit my hyundai partner for the next update. Is it still with only this single APP required to go through this procedure?

Why is it required to FACTORY reset the android part if already all apps are removed - and data space is available again?

btw, factory reset needs to be done twice? directly in service menu (android) + in the "normal" HU menu somewhere in settings i guess?

From what I remember factory reset in the engineering menu will reset everything. No need to uninstall anything, or do two different factory reset procedures.

do you know that you will not be able to install any apps after the update?

Sure I know - very sad but it was clear that Hyundai was going to secure their cars after (stupidly) putting Howto's via Youtube so they get to know about this too soon.

But still i hope (even if its stupid as well) that there will be coming an update that is worth the effort of updating....like showing the charging power in the displays.

Verstehe das Problem nicht, so lange wir uns auf Deutsch und Englisch beschränken. Notfalls kannst Du Dir die Texte ja von einem Online-Übersetzer übersetzen lassen, z.B. https://www.deepl.com/translator

Schreibt eigentlich eh nur Sonic Spinner auf englisch, kann aber deutsch lesen (oder sich übersetzen lassen). Der Rest könnte also schon auf deutsch ...

Hallo, da es sich hier um ein deutsches Forum handelt, sollte auch deutsch geschrieben werden, die Verfasser können schließlich auch einen Online-Übersetzer verwenden..... Die nur englisch sprechenden Benutzer werden ja wahrscheinlich hauptsächlich in englischen Foren unterwegs sein.
