OVMS für den Soul

Thanks for your replies Tom. There was no problem with our coding for TPMS. The problem was the dongle. The Konnwei KW902 works but the OBDLink LX does not. I think it is an advantage that all OVMS users use the same hardware.
Also what units do you use for the tire pressures. The recommended tire pressure on the plaque on the driver's door is 230kPa. I like this value more than 2.3 bars but kPa is not included as a default setting in Torque.

I do have OBDLink MX Bluetooth but I do not have the software Torque.
I am a end-user , so I have to use the units the software displays me.
The OVMS app gives me Psi.
I drive my winter tires with 36psi (2.5 bar) and the summer ones with 34psi (2.3 bar).

Solltet Ihr noch Fehler in der Doku finden, hinterlasst bitte eure Hinweise als Issue in meinem Github Repo (nicht hier im Forum). Ich bearbeite das dann und synchronisiere das ins OpenVehicles Repo zurück. In Bälde müsstet Ihr dann auch Links zur Doku auf der Homepage http://www.openvehicles.com/ des Projektes finden. Mark ist informiert und wird das sicher bald erledigt haben.

Bevor jemand meckert: ja, die Doku ist in english und nein, ich plane keine deutsche Version. Grund: dies ist die erste Version und funktionale Erweiterungen / Änderungen möchte ich zeitnah da einpflegen. Mit der deutschen Version ist das dann die doppelte Arbeit und braucht Zeit, die bei mir auch knapp ist.

Natürlich steht es jedem frei sich in das Projekt einzubringen und die Doku zu übersetzen.

It is 'Temporarily sold out'.

We are currently out of stock of OVMS v2 modules (using SIM908), and trying to arrange a final batch (v2.5) using SIM808 modules. Hopefully this final batch will be available during March 2016 timeframe. OVMS v2 is a 2G system, without WIFI or BLUETOOTH.

I will wait for OVMS v3.

Ich befürchte, dass eventuell dann die Weiterentwicklung gefährdet ist, wenn so wenig Interesse vorhanden ist. ...

Ach, Interesse gäbe es bestimmt bei vielen. Viele werden es einfach gar nicht kennen! Und zum Einen sind nicht alle in der Lage, so etwas schnell mal einzubauen und zu konfigurieren (trotz Anleitung) und zum Anderen ist der Kia Soul EV ja nur ein E- Auto. Aber zumindest Eines mit der Chance auf größere Stückzahlen.

Ich wäre glücklich, wenn ich an meinem Stromos die Spannungs- und Temperaturdaten auslesen könnte. GEC hält sich da leider sehr bedeckt, obwohl sie eine entsprechende PC-Software haben.
Nur: welcher Entusiast macht sich bei gut 150Stück "umgefrickelten" Verbrennerautos daran, den CAN-Bus aufzuschlüsseln? Ich wäre gern als Unterstützer dabei, aber meine Fähigkeiten außerhalb der Mechanik /Elektrik gehen gegen "0".

ich habe gestern wieder einmal auf die FastTech Seite geschaut, da mich das Thema doch interessiert und siehe da - die Hardware ist wieder bestellbar - habe gleich bestellt und werde mich mal mit dem Thema beschäftigen sobald die Sachen hier sind.
