Hi solar man, great to hear your replacement battery is working well.
I also have a 2015 Soul EV that got a replacement battery under warranty.
In late July 2019 I bought a second 2015 Soul EV.The initial reading was 84.8% SOH. It had done 75,000km. The battery health rapidly declined below 70%. Quite surprising because my other car has seen very little battery degradation.
In late December 2019 I had my replacement battery put in.
I took my white car to the main Kia service center in Jeju city for a battery replacement.
There were multiple stacks of crates containing new batteries. I counted 36. All for the Soul EV.
96 new cells and the wiring inside a big wooden crate.
These cells are newly made, and are a newer type than the original cells.
They are labelled as MY18 cells.
Here's the label on the outside of the box.
The difference between mine and yours is that you have a battery heater. We both have the new cells.
Looking at the Kia parts website we see this part costs $13010.25

The BMS computer was kept but with upgraded software.
I have been tracking the battery data for the last 5 months here see : -
Analysis of a replacement battery..
Normally I only charge to 80%. Only once I have tested the capacity by charging to 100% and then driving down below 10% SOC.
The two times I have calculated the usable battery capacity using the actual numbers given by the BMS, once when charging and once when driving, the value I get is almost exactly 30.0kWh , which is also what the service techs suggested it would be.
