Sorry for writing in English, I prefer to be more sure for my German writing is not good. I have participated this year for the second time in the eRUDA in the Ioniq team. The nice experience of last year made us to participatie this year again. However, I started to worry about 1-2 weeks before the event. Whereas last year Jürgen Sangl was very active as team captain and set up a whatsapp group and arranged a dinner for the team members the evening before the challenge, nothing at all happened this year. Don’t worry, we enjoyed this year’s challenge very much with a fantastic trip on the gletscherstrasse. But the lack of knowing the team members (we left Weilheim at 8:30 h) Made us feel we were doing this trip alone, not in a team. On the way to Landsberg, we got stuck on the Fernpass, and finally we were too late to reach the finish in time. Maybe a team whatsapp group could have helped here to warn us for the traffic jam and we could have scored at least one point for the team.
I have made up the balance. Travelling 830 km (one way) to join the eRUDA again in this way is not worth the effort. Or should I join a different team? When I look about how other teams experienced the eRUDA, I become envious.
Well, these are my 2 cents. Summary of this story: I missed you!
