jamcl3 hat den Artikel kommentiert und meinte, daß es Laurent wohl falsch gelesen hat. Was wahrscheinlich ursprünglich gemeint war ist "Modus 3" und nicht etwa "Typ 3". Folglich sollte man also mit einem Mennekes Typ 2 Stecker durchaus laden können. Perhaps you meant Mode 3? We don't have this term in US regulations, but Mode 3 simply means the EVSE must be hard wired to the grid. I believe it can apply to either Type 1 or Type 2 connectors. (Modes are defined in IEC 61851, which has an update coming soon. It also covers Cases A, B, and C, which defines at which ends the cable is detachable. Also not seen much in the US yet.)
