So ganz richtig ist das nicht.
Es gibt hier einen Unterschied zwischen den Amerikanischen Volts und dem Ampera in Europa.
In Europa gibt es den "Berg Modus" und den "Halten Modus"
Der Bergmodus lädt die Batterie wärend der Fahrt auf maximal 35 % (wenn sie unter 35 % ist ), der RE produziert in dem Modus Strom zum Laden und Strom zum Fahren. Der Modus soll dafür da sein um einen fast leeren Akku vor einer Bergfahrt etwas aufzuladen, weil es durchaus passieren kann, dass man für eine zügige Bergfahrt mehr Strom braucht als der RE liefern kann.
Im "Halten Modus" produziert der RE nur so viel Strom wie zum Fahren benötigt wird, der Akku bleibt auf dem Level auf dem er beim Einschalten des Halten Modus war.
Diesen "Halten Modus" gibt es bei der amerikanischen Version des Volts nicht.
Sowas wie den Bergmodus wird beim i3 nicht geben, dafür hat der RE zu wenig Leistung. Aber ob er einen "Halten-Modus" haben wird ?
