Yes and No. Yes, it is an interesting number and of course we can put it on a screen. It SEEMS to be (I am careful here) 2233DC, which is roughly 9350 kWh for me. [what I wrote here about domestic was wrong, sorry]
And for the usual nitpicking and nagging: please put in any requests and bugs in the github tracker. I will do it for this one, but you will not be informed of any progress (unless you make an account on github and add a comment to this issue. It is #430)

Because I wasn't able to wait to the next Release, I tried an experiment (for me). After registration to github, I installed all needed components as described in the wiki and was really able to build my own runtime - including your new added new value 'Energy consumed'. And its running: great !
