Latest CanZE update (Android), possibly better dongle control

Verzeihung for the English please.

As a lot of you have probably noticed, we rolled out a new version of CanZE. I am particularly excited about a new, optional (and yet unproven!!) feature that might make far better use of the ELM dongles and might (MIGHT!!) even run on the crappiest of dongles; I ordered a 2 Euro one for kicks, but of course it will take weeks to arrive. Anyway, I would like to ask if some of you can set "Use ISOTP frames" in the settings and check if things run faster (especially in screens like Consumption), and/or more reliably. The dreaded ATMA errors should be gone.


If this proves to be a positive experience I am considering switching that option automatically on for ELM based dongles in the next release.


Note: In case you have build the CanSee dongle, you can use said option too, but it is faster with this setting off.

I tried the new setting using the pedal position bar on the driving information page. No Timeout on ATMA messages and a consistent 3 or 4sec update rate. Without the ISOTP setting, I got lots of timeouts and very inconsistent update rate/hangs on the pedal position bar.

But I usually need CanZE only for charging information, cell voltages, tyre pressures, ... - not for driving data. And this works well on both settings.

On one occasion, immediatly after turning off the motor, I got a complete freeze of communication with ISOTP switched on. There was an error messge, but that was gone to fast, so I cant tell what it was. Turning ISOTP off or restarting the app did not help, I had to turn the dongle off and on to reestablish connection. But that was only once and could not be reproduced. No clue, if it had something to do with ISOTP anyways - looked more like a crashed dongle.

Yesterday I got quite a few omissions out, so the next release will definitely be better again. I'll see if I can re-create the donge lockup.

Die neue Version funktioniert tatsächlich schneller und ein paar Fehler wie die ptc Heizer die permanent als aktiv angezeigt wurden sind nun behoben.
Leider ist mit aber etwas neues aufgefallen siehe Screenshot. Der Ladestrom an einer 22kW Ladesäule wird mit 100A angezeigt. Hm. Ja...
Ansonsten gute Arbeit! Vielen Dank für die viele Entwicklungsarbeit die dahinter steckt!

Habe gestern "aus Vesehen" die Version 1.49 installiert. Die Hardware ist unverändert. Jetzt gibt es massive Bluetooth-Probleme. Irgenwie geht es dann doch, (auch mal wieder nicht) - habe aber noch keine zielgerichtete Vorgehensweise zur sicheren Funktionalität gefunden.

Vesuche auf 1.42 oder 1.44 zurückzugehen https://apkpure.com/de/canze/lu.fisch.canze/versions
Beim Herunterladen auf PC wird die Version 1.44 als "unsicher" gekennzeichnet, die Versionen 1.42 und 1.41 dagegen nicht.
