Strange, because in this Video you see the interior of a Pro S and it looks like this:

Yes, I was aware of this video. I also sent it to the VW dealer and they are trying to figure it out.
The video says it's a pre-production unit, so who knows ...
Also, the car in the video looks like an ID.3 Pro-S Tour. Maybe the Tour and the Pro-S (basic) have different seats?

Well. I still haven't received a convincing response from my dealer. My dealership is based in Spain. I thought you in Germany may have more information.

In my opinion it's nice to have a little bit of additional storage between the seats if the space can't be used as a seat for a third person anyways.
A little fridge would be a cool optional feature ...

I guess no one of us has seen an ID.3 Pro or Pro S yet, as they are not manufactured yet officially. But yesterday a tour through germany started with an ID.3 Pro S: http://www.id3-deutschlandtour.com/ so perhaps someone of us is able to get some Photos from the interior if we meet the car while charging?!

According to my information, the back seats of Pro S and Tour have no loading-through option and no armrests with cup holders.

Possible, according to this old picture the Pro S has "Interior Style" and the Tour has "Interior Style "Plus"". Difference should only be the electric seats. But in this picture the version "Interior Top-Sport "Plus"" would also be available, but isn't.

I don't know. It's crazy VW is selling this cars without any information about how they look inside. Not even the dealers know.

I think the solution shwn in the render looks fine. The "plastic hole" is preferable to a fixed armrest like Toyota did in the Prius 4 Plugin which is also in the way when you want to put luggage in the back row.
