Also ganz andere Nachrichten auf dem CAN Bus.

Viele Grüße

Hi Andreas! From your experience, can this part be interchanged with Nissan Leaf equivalent and vice versa?

No, it is completely different than the Leaf one.
Further in the Leaf-pack the fuse is not in the circiut breaker but in the pack.

Cheers

Thanks, Andreas!
Any idea how much does it cost at Renault?

Sorry - no idea. Maybe you'll get the fuse as spare part and don't need the complete circuit breaker.

Dear Andi42, from the shop where my car went for diagnose, they say the relay inside the battery pack is malfunctioning, plus something is draining the 12V battery. They say Renault does not authorize the battery pack to be opened for repair.
Is there a way to purchase and/or repair this relay? Is there a chance it is similar or interchangeable with the Nissan Leaf (or any other) part?
Thanks a lot for your help, we know you have been inside the Fluence Battery pack and lived to tell. :)

My personal opinion is that your "shop" does not really know what they are talking about, but I could be wrong of course.
a Relay inside the battery pack??? or do they mean the Fuse?
I think they just don't have the interest in repairing it.

I'm can't completely remember what you already have tried and tested, but isn't this a case of coal-dust inside the engine brushes making short-circuit, or a simple case of worn brushes?

how often do the Fluence Engine bushes need to be replaced anyway?

There is the fuse inside the disconnector switch, and there is also a couple relays inside the battery pack.
The disconnector is an easy swap, did that myself.
Nothing was said about the motor or the drive, and that's a good sign.
The other errors cannot be tested because no power comes from the battery.

This kind of unrepairable defects reminds me of getting rid of the Fluence asap, despite the fact that they have promised me a new battery in December...

With a new battery, anyone would take the car from you! I have no promise whatsoever.
