Individual cell voltages are cracked too, as is the battery health parameter. I will have an i907 on loan soon, and that will speed up the process a lot. If there is any parameter somebody would like to have (in term of: how it is transmitted on the CANbusses), please let me know either here or in a PM, so I can prioritize that.

Furthermore, I am glad to say that the team of Zoë (and Fluence) "hackers" is slowly growing. If anyone is interested to join, please PM me. We have a large and growing shared document with structured information about what is going on on the busses, suitable hardware, software used from others and home brew, etc.

Short update: while those cheap ebay sourced knockoff ELM328 dongles are totally useless to "spy" on the CAN bus (it will choke on the >1600 frames per second that transmitted on the bus), it would be great if it could be used for some specific parameters.

Today, I succeeded in pulling the odo meter from the bus using only an ELM327 clone. There is still a lot of testing to do, but it seems there are possibilities. I am very excited about this. I will keep you posted.

I am pretty sure it can be done. I have set myself the task to make a small "reference" program, PC based, on how to do that. There is some nifty timing required, but I am pretty sure we can pull this off.

After that, making an app should not be too hard for somebody who has done that before. I have read that, because of the Serial-over-Bluetooth, this should be much easier on Android compared to iPhone, but I leave that up to the more experienced app developers!

Did it With some gentle nudges, I managed to seduce the ELM327 to give me multi-frame responses! So, it is possible to get i.e. cell temperatures or voltages using a cheap ELM327.

With my current fuel car im reading values like Speed, Engine Temperatures, consumption and remaining fuel. It would be great to read out similar values from my planned Zoe using an ELM327 clone and the Android App "Torque".

Thank you DiLeGreen. It won't happen in Torque. I use Toque LIght myself in the "coal fueled vehicle" but it is very ICE oriented, focussing on emission. It works on strict OBD2 protocols only. That is why it won't talk at all with the Zoe.

Once we get something slammed together (yes, a few people from different countries are working together to crack all this info), we will probably release source code for others to improve upon.
