Hi All,

Yesterday I have putted new winter tires on my Renault Fluence from Goodyear.

Drives really nice in snow! Only thing is near the energy of the heater the snow eats energy of the battery haha, with outside temperature -1 I can drive around 70km max.

What is your experience?

Depends on how fast you are driving and how much heat you generate for the interiour.

I have to drive ~78km every working day. With preheat in the morning I can drive around 110 km/h on the Autobahn (75% of my daily driving) and get home with nearly empty batteries. Temperatures slightly below 0°C and +5°C the last few days. Average Speed a bit over 70 km/h. Fan normally lowest Speed and Temperature mostly at 18°C. I like it cold in the car...

Last winter I can remember less than five days where I had to drive close behind a slow Truck to get home. We had a cold week with Temperatures nearly reaching -20°C. But when I remember right these few days where I have to drive that slow were not the coldest days. I can't remember...

Hi Menno,

please share your experience with the additional heater. E.G. where to place the fuel tank and where to mount the heater.
I guess you already know this thread renault-fluence-ze/fluence-mit-zusatzhe ... ol#p263062. On page 2 there is a link to a youtube video.

Cheers
