Kunststoff-Reflektoren

Near the vents on the console facing upwards there is two plastic squares which were silvered. I initially thought these were reflectors reflecting oncoming car headlights. mine have now turned grey, so doubt this original theory. does anyone know what these are for?

In der Nähe der Lüftungsöffnungen an der Konsole nach oben gibt es zwei Kunststoff-Quadrate, die versilbert wurden. Ich dachte zunächst, diese waren Reflektoren reflektieren entgegenkommenden Auto Scheinwerfer. mir haben jetzt grau geworden, so bezweifle diese ursprüngliche Theorie. weiß jemand, was diese für die sind?

Again, I suppose they are just for decoration.
I use mine to mount the TomTom since there is no other flat areaon the dashboard.
