Hopefully the new version 1.0.3. which was released several minutes ago will now work fine - there was still the connection issue. I'm curious - I don't know why - the debug version (the version before getting signed with the release key to make it ready for upload to the play store) is literally the same as the release version. The debug version is workiing fine without problems.

I've changed the connection management - the data to the dongle will no longer be sent automatically when the app starts. You have to click on the play button once on the top to start the monitoring.

Hopefully this works - because this was the very old management in the prototype version.

The new version also comes with telegram integration.

More features will be added soon - but first the connection issue must be eliminated completly.

If you can try the new version, please report if it is working. And please try it several times (disconnect and connect the dongle again).

I tested the version 1.0.3 and it works! Bluetooth connection was established manually with the "play" button in the upper right side. I also got the e-mail notification that the desired state of charge was reached! So basic functionality runs fine.
However, when I switch then to another app and came back later to the app, reconnection could not be established. Had to restart the ODB2 dongle first.
The app looks very nice. Already now!

And also glad to hear that you received the notifications.

Do you still have the connection issue when switching to another app, when you restart the app? Or is a connection then not possible anymore and you have to reconnect the obd2 dongle? This information would help me to find a solution.

I think that switching back reconnects and reconfigures the connection even when there is a connection. That would be simple to fix

Closing (and killing) the app doesn't help. Just restarting the dongle works.
After I got the e-mail message about the desired charge, I restarted the dongle since the display still showed the target charge. Then I got a new e-mail about reaching the desired charge status.

Okay thank you. I will try to find a solution for this.

Killing the app will reset the notification_sent information. So the app thinks you are not notified. This is a normal behavior. But reconnectiong the dongle shouldn't reset the notifcation_sent information. I think this is a problem again of this bluetooth plugin and its variable references. It might be possible that a disconnection and a reconnection will cause to a lost of any references.
Maybe I will find a workaround for this.

I restarted the dongle AND killed the app. I'm sorry I disobeyed the rules of research: never change more tan one parameter at once Will check again tomorrow.

Also können iPhone-Nutzer trotzdem damit arbeiten, wenn sie für's Auto ein Android-basiertes Gadget haben, was die Kommunikation übernimmt. Richtig?
