Nissan LEAF Advisory Board

Hi all,

Apologies in advance for "crashing your party" here.

One of the things I do in the electric vehicle world is facilitating an independent LEAF Advisory Board for Nissan. Starting its third year, the LAB is composed of 10-12 members from around the world. Each member serves for one year. The group's mission is to help Nissan better understand the perspective of actual users. We share what's going well and what can be improved about Nissan's efforts with LEAF and EVs. Beyond our own individual opinions and experiences, we represent those of the broader LEAF and EV community. This year, we would like to add a member from Germany.

Because everyone is in different time zones, the group mainly operates online and the time commitment is fairly minimal. There is one required trip to Japan coming up soon as well.

The car is fine, the infrastructure is a desaster.
the leaf woul need a trailer hitch and and update to a threephase charger (at least 22kW) directly as an offer from nissan, to fully match my needs.

I already wrote this to nissan. It describes the few problems nissan evusers in germany have to face. there is not much more to say.
Unfortunately no one writing to nissan here, ever got an answer.

Deef summed it up already.
For me is very important too for my next decision to buy a new Leaf again the trailer hitch, which is already a standard at gasoline driven cars in EU and a better quick charging infrastructure.
Very helpfull in Germany or EU would be a 3 phase charger with 11 or 22 kW.
Carwings should become soon more reliable and should show a lot more of the available charging stations and update the stations.
Nissan can take a look here in our "Stromtankstellen" and can compare it with what they offer to us.

Think about a cooled and heated battery.
Even in Winter, it is very important to get max range.

Maybe a more convenient design (but this is already in progress i think)...
